Job Fair – Kumbalathu Sankupillai Memorial Devaswom Board College

JOB FAIR 2021

The Placement cell of KSMDB College in collaboration with the District Employability Centre, Kollam, Government of Kerala organized a Mini Job Fair in the campus on January 15, 2021. Fifteen reputed organizations from diverse fields participated with more than seven hundred reported vacancies. Participation was confirmed through online registration and it was limited to those who were with educational qualification of Plus Two (pass) and above within the age limit of thirty five years. More than thousand candidates registered online and were given time slot to attend the fair which was conducted strictly following Covid Protocol. The Fair began at 10:00 am with Parvathi. S, Convener, Placement Cell with her welcome speech. Dr. K S Anil Kumar, Principal, KSMDB College, Sasthamcotta presided over the meeting and Dr. V Jayasree, Coordinator, IQAC, Dr. Sushil Kumar R, Coordinator, NAAC, Lt. Dr T Madhu, ANO, NCC, and Dr. Ajesh S R, Member, Placement Cell felicitated the meeting. Sunrima K V, Joint Convener, Placement Cell proposed Vote of Thanks. Fifteen classrooms were converted to fifteen interview rooms and NCC Cadets were deployed outside each rooms to ensure the strict observance of Covid protocol as well as discipline. NCC wing of the college set up a food stall with breakfast, tea and light refreshment at the main entrance.
