One day Seminar on AIDS –A Global Concern

The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Bijomon Y, ICTC Counsellor, Govt Taluk Head quarters hospital, Kottarakkara along with the Principal of the College Dr. K.Beena, Dr.R.S. Harikumar, PTA Secretary, Dr. N.D. Suma, Red Ribbon Club convenor. Welcome address was given by red ribbon club convenor Dr.N.D.Suma. Mr. Bijomon addressed the gathering attended by over 50 college students. He spoke on HIV/AIDS prevention, care, support and treatment carried out at the various prevention centres in
Kerala. He also pointed what is ICTC, its role and how it helps HIV infected people. Principal Dr. K. Beena appreciated the student’s participation in such programme voluntarily.
Dr. R.s Harikumar PTA secratery spoke about the need of such club activities in colleges.The session was followed with queries answered by the resource personnel.
