The Department of Statistics was started in 2014. The course was inaugurated by Dr. Renato Falcao Dantas, Professor, University of Campinas, Brazil. It offers UG course in Statistics with Mathematics and Computer Science as complementary papers with a Course in Essential Statistics for Social Sciences for aspiring students from non-Statistics Degree streams as an Open Course.
