Dr. Dileepkumar R
Dr. Dileepkumar R, Ph.D., Applied Mathematics, from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, did his doctoral research on mathematical methods of regional-scale detection and attribution climate change. His Masters and Bachelors's degree are in Mathematical Sciences from St Thomas College Palai, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, and was a UGC-JRF awardee in Mathematical Science. Post Ph.D., he worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at ICWaR, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. His research interest lies in mathematical methods in climate change study, numerical weather modeling, and extreme weather attribution methods. He had presented papers in several national and international conferences, including the AGU Fall Meeting 2018 in New Orleans, USA, AGU Fall Meeting 2019 in Washington DC, and European Geosciences Union General Assembly (2016), Vienna, Austria. He had published four research articles in reputed journals.
