Dr. Meera A.P, Assistant Professor of Chemistry obtained her Ph.D. from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and M.Sc. from CUSAT, Cochin. She was a visiting research fellow at Université de Bretagne-Sud (UBS), Lorient, France for six months. She was a visiting research fellow at University of Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa under the joint Indo-South African collaborative project sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. She has 17 international publications in various Scopus indexed journals and authored four book chapters published by Taylor and Francis, Jenny Stanford, Bentham Science and River Publishers. She also coedited a book published by Taylor and Francis (CRC Press). She serves as the reviewer of many international journals including polymer composites, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Journal of Applied Polymer Science etc. She has presented research papers in many national and international conferences. She has 12 years of teaching and 10 years of research experience. She is an approved research guide of the University of Kerala and two students are pursuing their Ph.D. under her guidance. Her research interests lie in the area of green synthesis, nanomaterials, polymer based nanocomposites etc.
