INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY 2022 CELEBRATION
Department of Zoology celebrated International Tiger Day 2022 on 29th July 2022 in association with the Social Forestry Extension Unit, Kollam. The meeting began at 11AM.Dr Manju M., Head of the department of Zoology welcomed the gathering. The meeting was presided over by the Principal, Sri Lajith V.S. and delivered the presidential address. Sri Dinesh S., Deputy Conservator of Forests, social Forestry Extension Unit, Kollam inaugurated the meeting. Sri John Mathew, Divisional Forest Officer (Formerly, Asst Field Director, Periyar Tiger Reserve) delivered the keynote address on the topic Tiger Conservation. Dr. Prathibhakumari P.V., Asst Prof, Dept of Zoology offered felicitation. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Archana R Babu, S2 B.Sc Zoology Student. The meeting was came to an end at 1PM.
