National Cadet Corps (NCC)
KSMDB College’s NCC wing follows to the letter the vision of empowering volunteer youth to become potential leaders and responsible citizens of the country; and the mission of developing leadership, character qualities, discipline, nurturing social integration and cohesion through multi-faceted programmes conducted in a military environment. Towards these ends, the NCC wing of the college organizes a number of programmes around the year aimed at committed social action. These programmes are a moving testimony to the very spirit that guides theNational Cadet Corps. The interventions made by the cadets during the devastating floods of 2018 in Kerala are just one instance of this spirit. From the year 2013 to 2018 alone, 28 cadets from the college have enrolled in the Indian Armed Forces.
