Department of Botany and Bhoomitra Sena Club (BMC-155/KLM/14/11) of our college, jointly organised a program on the topic Waste Management for a sustainable campus. Separate Waste bins were installed for collecting paper and plastic wastes at different areas of the campus.The Principal college Prof. Dr Prakash K. C. inaugurated the function.The Head of the Department of Botany,Dr .P. GeethaKrishnan Nair spoke about the need of proper waste disposal management in college. Bhoomitra Sena Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Botany, Ms Lekshmy Sreekumar welcomed the gathering.Members of Bhoomitra Sena Club Prof Dhanya S.R (Assistant Professor of Botany) , Dr .Preetha G Prasad (Assistant Professor of Chemistry),Dr Sreekala M (Assistant Professor of Economics) Librarian Dr P R Biju , Ms.Meenu Darshana(Guest Faculty of Department of Botany), Ms.Sherina (Guest Faculty of Department of Botany) ,other faculties and students also participated in the function.
